Me and my boyfriend have been coming here quite often. A Un is our favorite place for sushi and just good Japanese food in general. If you are having a bad day, go to A Un and you will leave happy and relaxed. We fell in love with the atmosphere and the food from our first visit. Coming here makes me happy! You absolutely have to try their eggplant-it’s amazing. Their curry is delicious, I love their vegetable croquette. They have delicious buns-I’ve had the vegetable croquette and the oyster one :) their sushi is always so fresh. The salmon is like butter! I recommend adding the crispy topping. We also love their chicken katsu bowl. I’ve tried the garlic shrimp and it was 10/10. I plan to try more of their items! Wonderful service, the staff is attentive and friendly. The dishes they serve their food and drinks on are beautiful, everything is always plated so nicely. You can tell they prepare their food with love and attention to detail. Wish I had taken more pictures to share but I don’t usually photograph my food. Anyways, we love A Un and will continue to dine here and try all of their amazing dishes. Thank you for bringing such wonderful place and experience to Bushwick.

Great experience ! Food was good and service great . The food was so flavorful I had the oyster crunchy rice bowl and loved the crunch and flavor and my partner had the curry udon which was also flavorful . Food came out pretty fast the server was knowledgeable helpful and friendly. Definitely go!

Visiting our daughter and son‑in‑law in Williamsburg, we decided to order takeout from a place they had enjoyed before. We chose a variety of dishes—rolls, chirashi, and an outstanding eggplant with garlic sauce. I never imagined eggplant could be prepared so deliciously. Everything was packed thoughtfully, with hot and cold items separated, and the rice bedding for the chirashi packed on its own. The sashimi and sushi were fresh and expertly prepared. Since the foundation of good sushi is the rice, A‑un absolutely nails it. Prices range from moderate to high, but the quality makes it feel like a worthwhile luxury—something we’re happy to indulge in on special occasions.

Their wagyu udon was so good, and a reasonable price for brunch. Loved the sweet broth that they used. Pork cutlet curry was also so cleanly cooked 👌 Would definitely come back here again to try more items!

I honestly hate to leave a low review like this for a place with such amazing food, but sometimes 1 inconsiderate action and bad service can ruin the entire experience. I sent my partner here to have a solo dinner because they had a bad day. She arrived and ordered her food, the place was empty but filled up shortly after she arrived, still no issues, delicious food. However right after she paid and TIPPED her server was rushing her to leave, this was very rude to do because she was just waiting for her cab. It’s very cold outside and we just didn’t appreciate that. I understand restaurants get busy and this is kind of a small space it’s just not the right way to go about it. The way she was treated as a solo diner ordering multiple items was just very rude. She wasn’t even there for more than an hour. If they would’ve just sat her at the bar or at a smaller table there would have been no need to rush, but because they couldn’t anticipate it getting crowded she got rushed out. So just keep that in mind if you decide to have a nice dinner to cheer yourself up you might get rushed out to seat a larger group. If she wasn’t alone they wouldn’t have done that. It’s was weird and rude on
